The Kingfisher

The urban man has been here.

gone are the muddy pools that splattered in the rain,
stirring dreamy emotional outbursts.

gone is the gnarled, prickly bark
that blossomed into thousands of deep red desire.

gone are the aspirations, the quest for a dreamer's fulfillment.

the flash of blue in the midst of green glade can be seen no more!

the urban man has hacked away its glittering voice and its keen eye

No more urgent splash of a clean dive into the still pool

No more dream of a silvery catch,

for, the urban Man was here.

Men beware
The tigress is on the prowl
She will enslave you,
Belittle you, devour you.

Poor creatures at her mercy
Waging out their tails at her beck and call

Pride yourself if you master her.
Slash her spirits, Stab her soul,
Unwing her.
Make her your own.

No Prometheus should ever be Forgiven.
